St. Vincent de Paul Annual Friends of the Poor Walk/Run

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization leading its members to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service, centered on the home visit, to the needy, both families and individuals. Assistance is provided to reduce immediate needs, with the goal of reestablishing stability and independence.

Members work in pairs, on teams, to provide services that include, but are not limited to:

• Rent or mortgage assistance
• Utility (electricity, water, gas) assistance
• Food pantry
• Clothing vouchers to SVDP store
• Prescription medication assistance
• Homeless shelter reference

Monthly general meetings are held in the Parish Office on the second Thursday of the month at 3:00 PM, preceded by the recitation of the Rosary at 2:45 PM.
